Eclipse Magic
Plus, this Week's 11:11 as in Eleven Eleven Phenomena & Cal-e, August 9-12, 2026
Our message from the universe today is: breathe, breathe, breathe, bébés. ♥️
On August 11, 1999 a total solar eclipse occurred. ‘t was the last of the millennium & broadcast on TV by the Russian Mir space station. The path of totality crossed above lots of land, beginning over the Atlantic then eastwardly over the U.K. (Cornwall,) Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, ending at sunset over The Bay of Bengal.1
That same day a tornado swirled through Salt Lake City, Utah, U.S.
Now that 27-year-ago August murmurs to us with August 12th’s upcoming eclipse sparking at sunrise over a remote part of coastal Russia, then moving southwardly over lots of the North Atlantic waters to Greenland to Iceland to Spain, ending over a smidge of Portugal.
Perusing this long ago eclipse offers glimpses of what may come, especially as an 11:11 gateway ties heaven to earth the day prior & so much is backdropped by wonders like a meteor shower zooming on a no-moon night & Lion’s Gate starting to close.
Based on cross referencing events on earth & in the solar system throughout recorded time, astrologers posit that eclipses bring permanent, sudden change. (Pssst, for example, the current American president was born into eclipse energy. Just sayin’.)
We began feeling this eclipse season on July 12th & will feel it through the year’s end, one way or another. The climaxes happen with the de facto eclipses on August 12th (total solar at 20° 2’ of Leo) & on August 28th (partial lunar at 4° 54’ of Pisces.)
Just before the total solar in August of 1999, Kuala Lumpur’s Petronas Towers opened & the paranormal thriller, The Sixth Sense, as in ‘I see dead people’ released in movie theaters.
On the 9th, Vladimir Putin, became the acting prime minister in Russia. Yes, the Vladimir Putin.
Days after the eclipse, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake surged in Turkey. Also, East Timor won a referendum supported by the UN, which assured their path to sovereignty.
The year of 1999 was highlighted by a crisis in Kosovo, the Columbine high school shooting & an American president’s fall. Also, Cher’s song “Believe” as in ‘do you believe in life after love?’ slayed the charts & oh-how we followed Prince’s call to party like it was 1999, as Y2K loomed in the 0s & 1s.
Moreover (yes, I just used the word moreover,) there are a handful of co-incidences with these eclipses.
August 11, 1999 was an 11:11 day. This August 11, 2026 is as well.
11:11 days ask us to tap into our connectedness with the divinity that flows within us & without us, inside us & all around us.
If we zoom out & look at the whole year, 1999’s considered a 10 year in numerology, made from a 28 - a remarkable number in its own right.
1999 became the year 2000, with an intuitive 2 & the special gifts of a triple 000. (Pssst, 2 is the eventual sum of 11, hmmm.)
Likewise, this 2026 is a 10 year which will become an 11 year in 2027. The 10 vibration helps us find the 11 frequency we sashay towards. Ten invites mastery in the one & time to explore the mystery in the 0.
Once we come upon 2027, every little thing may feel like an elevation, a multiplication of oneness. We may well lift-off, up, one-higher on the spiral of the swirl, of the multiverse of infinity & beyond!
The pattern is that we have elevated by one. One more to eleven. (All reflects a wider pattern of the procession of the equinoxes elevating us by one sign & every 26,000 years or so; one sign, one more on the great slinky of Time.)
Similarly to the way 1999’s heightened situation-ships such as the turning of the millennia circled the 27-year-ago eclipse, we have myriad enhancements with the eclipse on August 12, 2026.
For example, the lunar nodes now vs. then oppose each other.
See, for this first eclipse the north/ascending node wobbles at 29°48’ of Aquarius, an energy we collectively move towards for another 18 months. On the opposite side of the nodal axis/the energy we move away from is Leo/leonid energy. Meanwhile in 1999 the ascending lunar node was at 18° 21’ of Leo, while we faced away from Aquarian vibes.
Like the August 11, 1999 total solar, this week’s eclipse path of totality goes over continental Europe & occurs on a Wednesday, a.k.a. a Woden/Mercury’s day.

Remember this August 12, 2026 eclipse rides at dawn in a remote part of Russia, then moves over the North Atlantic waters & on.
Aye, our new moon sparks in coastal Russia, a subtle initiatory vibe, different than if it were in a more direct relationship with the land mass of Russia. A perhaps nod to the freedom of the seas or the lack there of?
(Pssst, because Putin’s path to power initiated 2 days prior to the August 11, 1999 eclipse my spider-y senses tell me this may be his undoing, even as the new Spiderman movie dazzles the cinema-sphere.)
