Be, Just Be
& Wonder, What Oh What is on the Other Side of Our Fears? Cal-e: August 11-16, 2026
Message from the universe today is: find your third eye, love from that place.♥️
This week, this month features the build-up into a total solar eclipse followed by days in-between, capped with a partial lunar eclipse.
Within it all, Creator invites you to be, to...
…be, just be.
See, when certain things happen in the solar system something similar happens to us inside our deep biology.
As the star wheel turns, as earth wobbles so do we.
As the two eclipses bring us into communion, what if from states of being, action rises, gently, gently?
What if we attune to our inner waves - waves within which we return to ourselves, to each other?
What if we let our true connected selves prevail?

Our Plight ~
Ah, but HOW do we ‘just be’ when so much is lost —
— when so much zooms from all directions?
planetary parade/convergence, meteors, Luna eclipsing our Sun. Planets changing signs, retrograding, making hard & harmonious angles, Lion’s gate - a corridor between our Sun, Leo, Sirius - near closing. Then we get up & do it again 4 a lunar eclipse?
All as Venus sets bright on the western skyline, but leaves us this fall? El Niño intensifying, earth quaking, firing, flooding, Sun ejecting.
Species going extinct. Meanies warring, leaders failing, Power going out, out, out.
Children, animals, creatures of this wondrous planet dying.
Throughout Time ~
Biblical, Babylonian, Greco-roman myths of brotherly fall-outs, power struggles, brawn over beauty play out on repeat, repeat, repeat & BAM!!!
For the ancients, eclipse season came with ritual:
the event, a life cycle: a dying, a death, a rebirth, a dawn.
See, the probability of our Sun’s disappearance followed by reappearance is sound.
The opportunity to grieve what we are losing/have lost is here, now & how. Stardust fading for the light.
Loss is change & change can scare us. Fear lingers.
What, oh what may be on the other side of fear?

The Way it Is ~
We are all born knowing everything is alive, everything channels sacred energy, everything is one.
We know this.
The Great Mystery ~
During the eclipses some receive cues from the ancients & choose to stay indoors, draw the blinds, fast from food & drink.
We don’t know where Sun goes during solar eclipses & really, Sun goes no where, for he is right behind our moon, Luna & when Luna goes she’s simply shadowed. But we may be reminded in these moments of the illusion of separation from Creator, of mortality, of impermanence.
More often today, we don our eclipse glasses, tripod our cameras, gather for selfies. Still, all is okay.
All brings awe as the morning birdsong becomes the nightingale & the crack between the worlds opens.
We need not throw a party, perfect our looks, prostrate 108 times en route to the temple door. As a matter of fact, if we’d rather take it slowly, goldilocks ourselves, or speed matters up, good deal.
We got you.
That is, you don't need us to heal you, fix you, make you anything new, for you are divine, on your path, rocking it in the free world.
Yeah!!!
All to say, the universe is down with you lifting your arms in a hallelujah prayer, gazing upon trees swaying, photosynthesizing, if that’s your way. The Shoulders We Stand Upon ~
Many among us have revered the stars as they relate to life on earth.
For example, the maguš, priestly folks who walked among the Median & the Persian people, the Diné tribe in the desert southwest U.S., the Māori of Polynesia come New Zealand. Their spirits wave from the past, invite us to pay our respects, invite us to revere the miracle of existence. In Closing ~
While popular culture might have us throw parties, buy things, travel, our bodies feel the ancient feels in our DNA, the memories of skies darkening in the afternoon; the nights when Luna misshaped, bite out of her side.
We know there’s so much on the other side of the fear, even as we move through the cycles of death with eclipses:
a hospice, a dying into silence
a pause, a caring for the physical remains
an honoring, a celebration, a release into spirit.
That said, we are in the hospice period now & it is a little daunting. Yet in our cellular stores, we know dawn brightens for daybreak & the promise of a rising Sun. “Stars in the Valley of Dreams,” Photo by John Fowler on Unsplash
Magical Astro Calendar, Aug. 11 - 16, 2026 EDT/GMT-5
A magical calendar during eclipse season may remind you that it’s okay to chill-
August 11th - Luna in Leo at 4:38am.
Also, August 11th is an 11:11 day & jam packed with action.
Mars ingresses into Cancer (his fall) at 4:30am, Juno ingresses into Capricorn (deep for couples) at 10:45am, Mercury opposes Pluto (our minds may be able to release limiting beliefs more easily, but we need to intend to do so as the resistance could be fierce. No kidding.)
Later Mercury trines Neptune (sweet sacred thinking, but watch out for your mind playing tricks on you.)
Venus trines Uranus (might feel rather wild & might abundance come for all?) August 12th - Total solar eclipse in Leo at 20° 2’ exact at 1:37pm
Luna leaves Leo for Virgo also at 1:37pm, Ceres ingresses into Cancer (feminine rising,) Mercury sextiles Uranus (wildness of thought)
Solar eclipse’s totality lingers quick - 2+ minutes. Its streak sashays from Russia to Greenland to Iceland to Spain & just a smidge of Portugal.
Last time this happened in continental Europe was Aug. 11, 1999. Two days after Mr. Putin came to the prime ministership of Russia. Also on August 12th, Planetary parade/convergence & the Perseid meteor showers peak 8/12-13
August 13th - Luna in Virgo at 6:18am, Mercury sextiles Venus (nice vibe)
Luna soars through Virgo in just a few hours, then cruises towards Libra beginning at 3:24pm, where she arrives on 15 August at 10:20am, can you say long lunar transit? August 14th - Pallas Athena stations retrograde, (inner feminine strength awakens)
Luna still in transit all day long. Dream, dream, dream...but 'watch your Ps & Qs, buster'* for accident potential increases. (*Homage to Ferris Bueller's Day Off)August 15th - Mercury conjunct Jupiter, brilliance, Luna in Libra (finally she lands!!!) at 10:20am
August 16th - Luna in Libra all day long, phew(!!!) & Mars quincunx Pluto, dicey!
